Not sure if 2.5% is right for your pup?

2.5% is a good baseline for the adult dog who’s moderately active and gets around 1.5-2 hours of daily exercise.

If your dog is less active and puts on weight with this amount of food, you can decrease their weekly allowance and redo their calculations with a 2% maintenance percentage, or even 1.5%.

Likewise, you can redo the calculations with a higher maintenance percentage for your very active or working dog.
